iBOT® Personal Mobility Device Donation

Three VA Medical Centers in NY/NJ VA Health Care Network (VISN 2) will each receive an iBOT® Personal Mobility Device donation.

iBOT®Twenty-five iBOT® Personal Mobius Mobility LLC Devices will be donated to VA's Spinal Cord Injuries and Disorders Centers (SCI/D Center). Three VA Medical Centers in New York/New Jersey VA Health Care Network (VISN 2) will each receive an iBOT® Personal Mobility Device donation-East Orange VA, NJ; Bronx VA, and Syracuse VA.

East Orange, NJ will kick off the donation drop offs on:

J.J. Peters (Bronx VA) iBOT® donation will be June 8, 2021
Syracuse VA iBOT® donation will be August 4, 2021

The iBOT® is a robotic, multi-modal mobility product that provides people with disabilities, including disabled Veterans, with new levels of freedom and independence. It has four driving modes that allow the user to climb curbs, negotiate terrain including sand, snow, and hiking trails, move and interact at eye-level, and even climb stairs.
iBOT PMD also has a remote mode that facilitates loading it into a motor vehicle.
