VA provides maternity care for enrolled Veterans. Normally this care is provided through an agreement between VA and an approved maternity care provider in the community. If you are pregnant or planning a family, contact us about:

Maternity care before, during, and after delivery
Genetic consultation with a physician when needed
Childbirth preparation
Parenting education
Breastfeeding support and lactation classes
Breast pumps
Coverage of newborn up to 7 days after birth

	Canandaigua VA Medical Center Mary Anne Vitticore, MSN, RN (585) 393-7621 Gender specific and routine gynecological services are provided in-house to the extent possible at Canandaigua and Rochester VA.

	Syracuse VA Medical Center Mary LaRussa, FNP-BC Women Veterans Program Manager (315) 425-4652 Syracuse VA Medical Center provides comprehensive gynecological care i.e. pelvic exams, breast exams, hormone replacement therapy, PAP smears, transvaginal ultrasounds biopsies and colposcopies.
