Simpson/Parker Memorial Golf Tournament presented a check to Robert Hawes, Syracuse VA Voluntary Service Manager. Sergeant Christopher Simpson, U.S. Army, and Sergeant Elisha Parker, U.S Marine Corps, were both killed in Iraq during Operation Iraq Freedom. Their families recently held an annual Memorial Golf Tournament at Rouges Roost Golf Club that benefitted the Syracuse VA Medical Center and Wreaths Across America. The memories of these two local heroes live on through their family and friends. This donation honors local OIF/OEF/OND fallen heroes. Thank you to Kate McLaughlin and Mr. and Mrs. Parker, our Gold Star families of Chris and Eli!

We thank Stan Colella, Syracuse City Parks and Recreation Department, and students for providing some beautiful music and cheer to our Veterans!
