Accreditation

The Acute Rehab Program has been accredited by CARF, the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission.

CARF is a private, not-for-profit organization that accredits programs and services Medical Rehabilitation and other areas. CARF develops and maintains practical and relevant standards of quality for such programs.

What does it mean? CARF is a nationally recognized symbol of quality, meaning that our rehab unit meets the CARF standards of performance.

How do you get accredited? Every three years, CARF will send professionals to conduct an on-site survey to determine if the organization meets their standards.

What are they looking for? They are looking to see if the organization has made a commitment to continually enhance the quality of its services and programs, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
