Everyone referred for treatment receives a clinical assessment of his/her PTSD. The types of treatment used depends upon your individual needs and goals. The treatment program that is best for your needs may include individual psychotherapy, family therapy, group therapy, skills building, recreation, and medication management. Educational sessions provide training in areas such as relaxation, assertiveness, anger management, issues in family and relationships, and how PTSD affects your body.

The Men’s Residential Program offers three levels of care.

Track I Residential Program:
This track helps you increase your awareness, understanding, and coping for symptoms related to PTSD . The stay in this program is usually one to two weeks. This program is individualized to serve the veteran’s short term PTSD treatment needs. This is achieved through a structured individualized daily program of organized therapeutic activities.

Track II (Cohort) Residential Program:
This track offers intensive treatment for PTSD. Eight to ten veterans are admitted on the same day. This program is six weeks long and includes a group graduation upon completion. This program offers daily structured activities including psychoeducation, individual sessions, and group psychotherapy.

Track III (Cohort) Residential Program:
This track offers intensive treatment for PTSD for GWOT (Global War on Terrorism) veterans. Eight to ten veterans are admitted on the same day. This program is a two week program with the option of staying 1-2 additional weeks to work on trauma issues in individual treatment more intensively and includes a group graduation upon completion. The program offers daily structured activities including psychoeducation, individual sessions, and group psychotherapy dedicated to address the problems you face in readjusting to being home.
