Minority Veterans Program Coordinators
act as mediators and facilitators, to:
Promote the use of VA programs, benefits,
and services
Make benefits and services more accessible
to minority veterans
Educate veterans and their family members
about VA benefits and services in their area
Target outreach efforts to minority veterans
through community organizations
Evaluate current programs and make
recommendations
to VA to better serve
minority
veterans
Support and initiate activities that educate
VA staff about the unique needs of minority
veterans
Advocate on behalf of minority veterans
